Description:

Skeet shooting is a recreational and competitive activity where participants, using shotguns, attempt to break clay targets mechanically flung into the air from two fixed stations (high trap house & low trap house) at a high speed from a variety of angles. Skeet is one of the three major disciplines of competitive clay target shooting. The others are Trap and Sporting Clays. Skeet is the smallest of the clay bird sports. Skeet on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Skeet on Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Beginning on June 3rd, Skeet on Friday afternoons from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. A Skeet round is 25 clay targets. Price: $4.50 per round (clay birds included). Cash only; no checks or credit cards. Limited to 12/20/28 gauge and .410 bore shotguns. Skeet or Improved Cylinder chokes work best. 9/8.5/8 and 7.5 shot only. The e-mail account is not monitored daily.

Directions:
From I-75 South Exit #166 – Crittenden Exit. Turn Left at light. Go to end of road (1/4 mile). Turn Right on Hwy 25. Drive through Crittenden (Approximately 1 mile) and Turn Left on Hwy 491 (Clearly marked). As soon as you cross the railroad tracks, turn right on Wildlife Road. (Be Careful, this is a dangerous train crossing) Drive a few hundred yards to first road (gravel) on left. Turn left and drive to Skeet Club (fields and clubhouse visible from Wildlife Road)
