This is a deer Field to Fork workshop that focuses on bowhunting. Please note: this is only the workshop and not a mentored hunt.

- Hunting seasons, licenses and regulations
- Bowhunting equipment
- 3D target shooting
- Scouting
- Tree stand equipment and safety
- Hunting strategies
- Shot placement
- Field dressing
- Skinning and quartering
- Meat preparation and cooking techniques
If you have your own bow, please bring it to the workshop. Instructors will be present to help you sight in your equipment, as well as to make adjustments.
If you DO NOT have your own bow, no worries! Please contact Sam Seaton at samantha.seaton@ky.gov or 502-330-6305 and let her know. We will have a limited number of compound bows on sight that you will be able to shoot with.
We encourage anyone that is interested in hunting deer with a bow to take this workshop, even if you've never shot a bow before.
