We’ve set a goal to plant 2,000 trees at Fish & Wildlife headquarters and we need your help! There will be fun for the whole family as Salato hosts Reforest Frankfort, a rain or shine family event dedicated to honoring Arbor Day and planting native trees. The event runs from 9am to 1pm and admission to the center will be free. Free hotdogs and drinks will be provided to those who help with planting and participants will also receive a free t-shirt. There will be live folk, blues, and bluegrass music, vendors with children’s activities, tree giveaways, door prizes and much more! Children can also use their artistic skills to help with the creation of a Salato exhibit and anyone who plants trees will have the opportunity to watch them grow up at various locations on the grounds.
