Description:

JAKES DAY(Juniors Acquiring Knowledge Ethics and Sportsmanship) is our National Wild Turkey Federation-Double Eagle Chapter's annual outdoor youth event. It's FREE and open to All Youth ages 2-17. The Scott County 4-H Shooting Sports Club conducts the Archery, Air Rifle & Air Pistol events and a host of other groups provide a variety of hands-on activities for us including: turkey calling, casting, clay target shooting, the My Church "zip line", fly tying, call making and much more. The kids also receive safety & educational information and see demonstrations pertaining to conservation, wildlife & hunting provided by outdoor related clubs/organizations & individual exhibitors. Each youth will receive a nice Participation Gift! We provide all of the supplies and equipment needed for the day and everyone is served a free lunch (11:00-12:30 p.m.). Drawing for Door Prizes starts at 12:30 P.M. (Must be present to Win).

Directions:
From Lexington: Follow I-75 N to Exit 129 turn Left, off of exit- travel to US-25 N, turn right -travel 1.7 miles, turn Right onto 620 W (Rogers Gap Rd.) WMA is on the Left (just past the interstate over-pass bridge)
