Description:
Every participant that intends to hunt will need to have their orange card (hunter safety card), a hunting license, and a deer tag. You can find links to all of these at fw.ky.gov. There are no overnight accommodations for this event. Lunch on Saturday will be provided. All registered Participants will be sent a schedule after successfully securing their spot in the class. Schedule is subject to change at any time. All equipment for the workshop and the hunt will be provided. Something to take notes on is suggested. Dress for the weather and be prepared to be exposed to the elements and uneven ground during the weekend. Be prepared to get dirty, possibly stained clothes, as this workshop is very hands on.
Saturday location = Boone County Extension Services in the morning, Lloyd Wildlife Management Area in the afternoon.
Sunday location = Optional Hunts at Lloyd Wildlife Management Area.

From Georgetown area: Get on I-75 N from Paris Rd and Cherry Blossom Way. Follow I-75 N for 55 miles. Take exit 181 for KY-18 toward Burlington/Florence. Turn left onto KY-18 W/Burlington Pike. In 3 miles turn left onto McGrath Ln. Turn right onto Patrick Dr. The parking lot and building will be on the right.
From Louisville area: Follow I-71 N to KY-18 W/Burlington Pike in Florence. Take exit 181 for KY- 18 toward Burlington/Florence. Turn left onto KY-18 W/Burlington Pike. In 3 miles turn left onto McGrath Ln. Turn right onto Patrick Dr. The parking lot and building will be on the right.
