Description:

Join the department as we host a series on getting started in Kayak fishing. This will be a three part series covering all the basic from boat selection, planning a safe float trip and how to fish from a kayak effectively. Dates are listed below join us on Zoom or YouTube Live. Zoom link will be sent out closer to day of webinar.

Day 1 June 1st, 2021

Title:Choosing the right kayak and Boater Safety.

Join department and Canoe Ky staff as we discus the difference in kayaks and features and how to get your self set up in a boat that fit your needs and learn some basic safety along the way.

Day 2 June 8th, 2021 (Postponed)

Title: How to plan a kayak float trip.

Join Lee McClellan of Kentucky Afield magazine as he goes over all the things to consider when planning your next float trip.
