There will be fun for the whole family at the Salato Center’s celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day on Saturday, September 13th! This event will run from 11am to 4pm and admission will be FREE to all participants. Participants can also enter a raffle for a free wildlife print and lend their creativity to a habitat art project that will be used as part of a new indoor exhibit! The schedule for the day is as follows:
Laser Shot Game - 11am to 12:30pm, 3pm to 4pm
Air Rifles - 11am to 2:30pm
3D Archery - 11am to 2:30pm
Archery Trap Shooting - 11am to 2:30pm
Fish Fillet Tutorial - 12pm
Casting - 12pm to 3pm
Fishing - 12pm to 3pm
Falconry Demonstration - 1pm to 2pm
Squirrel Field Dressing Tutorial - 2pm to 3pm
Hunting Dog Demonstration - 3pm to 4pm
Raffle - 11am to 4pm
