Regulations

Open under statewide regulations for all squirrel, rabbit, quail, turkey and furbearer seasons, except these seasons are closed during the deer quota hunt.

Other Exceptions

Deer: Quota Hunt, either sex, two consecutive days starting the first Saturday in November, includes adjoining Tradewater WMA. Open under statewide regulations for archery and crossbow seasons, except archery season closed during quota hunt.

Grouse: Dec. 1-31, daily limit 2.

Directions & Description

8 miles south of Dawson Springs. From Princeton, take US 62 east to KY 109, then south to WMA. From Hopkinsville, take US 41 north to KY 1348 west. Many trails, roads (some paved) within area. Hilly terrain, primarily timbered.

Hiking trail. Food, lodging, camping and recreational facilities at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park. Fishing in Beshear and Pennyrile lakes.
