Description:

Monarch butterflies are embarking on their migration to Mexico, and we're celebrating! Join us from 10:30am to 4:30pm for a day dedicated to these wonderful pollinators: • Biologist Michaela Rogers will show you how to tag and release monarchs • Friends of Monarchs will share their expertise on native plant butterfly gardens and waystations • Children will enjoy special snacks, face painting, and fun butterfly games and crafts • Join Salato Conservation Educator Nikki Nivison at the center's waystation to learn how you can support monarchs in your own yard • Come in your favorite butterfly costume! There will also be a native nectar plant and milkweed sale (while quantities last!)
