This course will teach you the basics of hunting doves in Kentucky. Whether you are an experienced sportsman or a first-time hunter, this course will teach you the skills and knowledge you need to get started in dove hunting.
The classroom portion covers basic concepts including dove identification, biology, habitat, equipment, licensing/regulations, techniques, firearms, safety, private vs public land, and location selection.
The field portion includes, but is not limited to: location selection, shooting techniques, firearm safety, hunting mentor, field dressing demo, and hunting methods.
Firearms, ammunition, ear protection, and eye protection are provided however your own personal ear/eye protection is recommended.
