Note: Higginson-Henry WMA has two lakes, Cap Mauzy Lake (85 acres) and Mortons Lake (1.7 acres). Mauzy Lake was renovated in 2003 (drained 13 feet, shorelines deepened, fishing jetties and gravel bars installed, and fish attractors placed at each of 12 jetties. An underwater withdrawal structure was installed. A fishing pier was installed in 2005 and fish attractors were added to the pier and jetties. Morton's Lake is stocked with rainbow trout in February.
