Hunter Education

Our Hunter Education classes have been moved and can be viewed online at Education Course Events.

Hunter Challenge 3D Shoot Hosted by Caldwell County Sportsman Clu - Caldwell County

Come brush up on your archery hunting skills before archery season at this 3D shoot. There will be 20 targets placed as real life hunting scenarios. There will be some shots from blinds, one off a bluff. Please register so we have an idea how many will be attending. Targets range from small to large there is a good mix of targets. ASA scoring with club rules. Our club shoots year around. Come join Caldwell County Sportsman Club membership and it will save you on event fees thru out the year. Bring your current year Membership card and get $5.00 off your entry fee. We are trying to provide one of the best 3D Courses around! So come out and enjoy some 3D Archery with family and friends! All Entry Fees will be $25.00

Hook and Cook - Lexington - Fayette County

Day 1 - Tuesday, August 5th: Classroom portion covering basic concepts including fish identification, biology, fish habitat, equipment, conservation, licensing/regulations, proper selection and use of cooking tools, cooking safety, recipes, proper food handling and storage techniques.

Day 2 - Tuesday, August 12th: Field portion covering how to filet fish and hands on fishing experience. 

Plan to attend both dates. Youth participants must be accompanied by a participating adult.

NWTF Double Eagle Chapter - 2025JAKES DAY - Scott County

We want everyone to know that our NWTF Double Eagle Chapter is gearing-up for our 2025 JAKES DAY -FREE outdoor youth event! We've scheduled it for Saturday, AUGUST 2, 2025. We're asking that All VOLUNTEERS and EXHIBITORS, FIRST, Check-In at the Registration Tent/Shelter, between 6:30-7:30 a.m., because Registration for kids opens at 8:00 a.m. Activities and exhibits end at Noon with Drawings for Door Prizes and our Fundraiser starting at 12:15 PM, followed by our Youth Turkey Calling Contest.
