Regulations

Spring Hunting Season:

Open under statewide rules and regulations in effect for the county. During the spring season, only one legal turkey can be harvested per WMA.

Directions & Description

5 miles southwest of Nebo on Utley RD off KY109. From Madisonville, take KY 70 west 11 miles and turn North on KY 109 for 4 miles to Utley RD. Turn right on Utley RD and the parking area will be about 2 miles off Utley RD. From Providence proceed south on KY 109 about 6 miles to Utley RD, and turn left and proceed to the WMA parking.

The WMA is primarily wetlands with some shoreline. Opportunities for use include waterfowl hunting, fur trapping, fishing in the main creek channel and bird watching.
