Commission 5th District Nomination Meeting - Boone County

Nomination meetings for the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission are being held this month to fill three of nine positions on the volunteer board.

The meeting to nominate candidates for the 5th District will be held at the Boone County Enrichment Center (across from the Boone County Extension Office), 1824 Patrick Drive, Burlington, on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. Doors for the meeting open at 6 p.m. (Eastern Time), with the meeting to start at 7:30 p.m. The 5th District includes Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Harrison, Henry, Kenton, Owen, Pendleton, Robertson and Trimble counties.

Grant County 4-H Shooting Sports Club Meeting - Grant County

This event is open to club members, ages 9 to 18, that have passed necessary safety training. Archery of all types held from 6 PM to 8 PM on the second and fourth MONDAY of each month. .22 Riflery/Trap held from 6 PM to 8 PM on the second and fourth FRIDAY of each month. Meetings runs from March until November. To sign up to participate this is club, please call the Grant County Extension Office at (859) 824-3355 or visit them at 1212 N. Main St. Ste F Williamstown, KY 41097. A club enrollment form must be filled out for each participating youth. All youth enrolled must complete 6 hours of safety training classes providing by Grant County 4-H before participating in club.
