Cedar Creek Lake is Kentucky's newest lake. It was impounded in 2002 and is approximately 792 acres in size. KDFWR has established a 300-foot buffer zone around the lake to allow anglers fishing access to the entire shoreline. There are 3 boat ramps and a fishing pier, along with many fish attractors and underwater habitat features.

Abundant submerged trees and vegetation can make shoreline fishing a challenge, but good numbers of bass, bluegill, shellcrackers and catfish make it worthwhile.
