From Frankfort, take U.S. 127 North about 16 miles to KY 355. Follow KY-355 to Hwy 22. Turn left onto Hwy 22 and take a right onto KY-389 after crossing the new bridge over the Kentucky River. The entrance is approximately 3 miles ahead on the right. The lake is located to the south past 6-Acre Lake. The walk is about 500 yards uphill over a maintained trail.
