Barren River Lake - Port Oliver Ramp
Directions:
US-31E northeast of Scottsville, left on KY 252, right on Port Oliver Boat Ramp Road before crossing dam.
Note:
This ramp is a designated tournament ramp and is expected to be quite busy during the tournament season.
This ramp is not useable at lower water levels, primarily during winter drawdowns.
Be advised that scheduling a tournament release site at the Port Oliver area during the mid Sept. – early Nov. time frame may subject your tournament released bass to stressful conditions (low oxygen levels) that can lead to poor bass survival. Consider using the state park or Narrows ramps for bass release sites or for all tournament activity (launch & release) during this time frame.
The area now has new fishing piers and updated facilities including an ADA ramp and playground.
