Commission 7th District Nomination Meeting - Floyd County

Nomination meetings for the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission are being held this month to fill two of nine positions on the volunteer board.

The meeting to nominate candidates for the 7th District will be held at the Convention Center at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, 75 Theatre Court, Prestonsburg, on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Doors for the meeting open at 6 p.m. (Eastern Time), with the meeting to start at 7:30 p.m. The 7th District includes Breathitt, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Lawrence, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, Owsley, Perry and Pike counties.

***Update: Range Day Registration is Now Closed. No Spots remain for this course.*** This is a range day for ONLINE students ONLY and requires pre-registration. No walk-ins. Dress for the weather. Wear closed toed shoes. Bring PRINTED online voucher. Range will be outside. Do not bring a firearm. Equipment will be provided for you. You will be certified with a pellet rifle, genesis bow, or crossbow, as firearms cannot be used at this location.
