The Mercer County Fish and Game Club and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources are partnering to host a basic muzzleloading for deer workshop. At this single-day workshop, we will cover muzzleloader basics, safety, ammunition, and how to clean a muzzleloader. We will also spend time on a live-fire range with certified instructors. All of the necessary equipment for this workshop will be provided by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. If you have personal equipment that you would like to practice with, you are welcome to bring it. Absolutely no live ammunition in the classroom. Leave your personal equipment in your vehicle until you are instructed to get it.
