The Fern Creek Sportsman's Club and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources are partnering to help new turkey hunters get on target before the spring turkey season opens! At this evening workshop, you will learn how to pattern your shotgun for turkey hunting. We will cover common turkey hunting firearms, turkey ammunition, and shot placement. We will also spend time on a live-fire range to practice patterning shotguns with certified instructors. All of the necessary equipment for this workshop will be provided by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. If you have personal equipment that you would like to practice with, you are welcome to bring it. Absolutely no live ammunition in the classroom. Leave your personal equipment in your vehicle until you are instructed to get it.
