Description:

This course will teach you about how to skin, process, and package a full deer. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hunter this course can help sharpen skills and add tips and tricks to making the processing of game easier. This course will include a short classroom portion about hunting and deer as a whole before going outside to a covered patio to watch a processing demonstration. Depending on number of participants and how many deer are donated for this course there may be an optional hands on processing experience with the guided help of an instructor.

Safety, food processing, deer biology, hunting, tools, skinning, preserving meat safely, parts of the deer, muscle groups and uses for each, recipes for venison, and more!
