Description:
Free outdoor event for All Youth, Ages 2-17. At JAKES DAY (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge Ethics & Sportsmanship) kids have an opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on activities from 8 am to Noon, including archery, air-rifle, casting, zip-lining, turkey calling, shotgun shooting & more. They also receive educational information & see demonstrations pertaining to safety, conservation, wildlife & hunting provided by outdoor related clubs, organizations & individual Exhibitors. We provide All supplies & equipment; each youth receives some nice participation gifts & everyone gets a free lunch. Drawings for Door Prizes and raffles begin at 12:15 pm followed by an open Youth Turkey Calling Contest *** Each youth must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years of age or older) and parents/guardians must sign a "NWTF Release of Liability & Photo Release Participation" form for their child.

From Georgetown,KY travel US- 25 South then turn Right onto KY-620 W (Rogers Gap Road) travel 0.2 miles and Entrance to the WMA will be on your Left *** From Lexington, KY follow I-75 North to Exit 129 -turn Left onto Cherry Blossom Way then turn Right onto US-25 N then travel 1.7 miles and turn right onto KY- 620 (Rogers Gap Rd) travel 0.2 miles and Entrance to the WMA will be on your Left.
