The Clark County Cooperative Extension Services and the KY Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources have partnered to host a single-day, in-person Field to Fork workshop for adults interested in learning how to hunt deer for food. This program is designed for adults interested in hunting deer as a sustainable, local meat source and with no prior hunting background. Throughout the workshop, we will cover topics such as deer ecology, deer hunting regulations, hunting techniques, scouting, equipment, deer hunting clothing, and hunting safety. There will be a deer processing demonstration and time spent on the range learning how to use deer hunting equipment such as crossbows. Much of this workshop will be outside so please dress for the weather.
